Like most people do in today's connected world, we met on a dating app in March 2022. We talked for weeks online on Coffee Meets Bagel, and we finally decided to take the relationship offline at Revolution Roasters Coffee Shop on The Pacific Coat Highway in Oceanside. The coffee date was supposed to be a quick 30 minute "make sure they aren't a serial killer" meetup, but we ended up talking for hours eventually being asked to leave when the cafe closed. We talked about everything, and we both just seemed to "click".

One of the first things we figured out is that we both love to travel, experience new places, and eat interesting and new food! After a few months of dating, we began traveling together. We started local by exploring Joshua Tree National Park, hiking through box canyons, exploring old mines, and stargazing at the AirBnB's we would rent. We quickly started taking domestic trips together to places like Washington DC, Seattle, and Florida. 6 months later we were crossing oceans together, heading to Italy for pasta, France for pastries, and England for the... castles (the food was terrible).
